MICHAEL ARNZ, D.P.M.
Diplomate American Board of Podiatric Surgery

Dr. Arnz was born in Germany, is bilingual, and was raised in southern Virginia. He completed his undergraduate degree at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia. He originally came to Iowa to receive his doctorate of podiatric medicine in 1997 at the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines. He returned to the east coast to complete a three year residency in foot and ankle surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. To complete his training, Dr. Arnz spent an additional year as a fellow in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, concentrating on more complex surgeries including adult ankle fractures, flatfoot deformities, and nerve damage. During his fellowship, he also traveled to Washington, D.C. to receive extensive training in the plastic surgery of complex diabetic wounds at Georgetown Hospital.

In 2002, Dr. Arnz and his family moved to Dubuque where he is currently a partner at Dubuque Podiatry. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Iowa Podiatric Medical Society. He is board certified and a diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. Dr. Arnz is licensed in Iowa and Illinois and has privileges at Finley, Mercy (Dubuque and Dyersville), Guttenberg and Galena Hospitals. At the wound clinic at Finley Hospital, he and Dr. Kelsey treat simple to complex wounds via surgical and non-surgical means. Dr. Arnz has lectured on diabetic and non-diabetic wounds to fellow colleagues, nurses and physical therapists.

ROBERT S. KELSEY, D.P.M.
Diplomate American Board of Podiatric Surgery

Dr. Kelsey graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a BA in Biology in 1988. He then graduated from the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery (now Des Moines University) in 1993. He graduated 5th in his class of 49 students and received several honors. After graduation Dr. Kelsey was selected as a Podiatric surgical resident at the Welborn Baptist Hospital in Evansville, IN. He completed a 2-year surgical residency in 1995. Dr. Kelsey practiced in Moline, IL. and Evansville, IN before joining the physicians at Dubuque Podiatry, PC in 1998.

Dr. Kelsey became board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in 2000. He has been trained in many advanced surgical techniques for the treatment of foot and ankle conditions with emphasis on Arthroscopic techniques for treatment of ankle conditions, Endoscopic Plantar Fasciotomy, Laser treatments and Extra Corporeal Shockwave Therapy.

Dr. Kelsey has an interest in advanced wound care and he is the medical director of the Finley hospital wound clinic in Dubuque, IA. He also has interests in diabetic foot care, foot and ankle surgery, sports medicine and trauma care.

TIMOTHY J. QUAGLIANO, D.P.M.
Diplomate American Board of Podiatric Surgery

Dr. Quagliano graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale with a BS in Biology in 1987. He proceeded to graduate with Summa Cum Laude honors from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois in 1991.

Following graduation, he completed a 2-year surgical residency at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, IA in 1993. He then taught foot and ankle surgery in Beijing, China prior to going into private practice with Dubuque Podiatry, P.C. in the fall of 1993. Dr. Quagliano became board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in 1996. He enjoys all aspects of podiatric medicine with a special interest forefoot reconstruction including bunion and hammertoe correction.

MICHAEL W. WARD, D.P.M.
Diplomate American Board of Podiatric Surgery

Dr. Ward received his doctorate in podiatric medicine from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine. He received his surgical training with post-graduate work at the New Berlin Hospital and Clinic in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

In 1976, he established private practice in Dubuque, Iowa. Dr. Ward has been very active in supporting the profession of podiatry.

He became board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in 1987. He has held the following positions from 1986 to present day:

He practices all aspects of podiatry, including general foot care, diabetic foot care, injuries/sports medicine, surgical and non-surgical intervention of foot and ankle deformities to include custom made orthotics, and non-invasive procedures, such as treatment of heel spurs.
